What is JamQPro?

JamQPro is a digital jam night management platform for musicians, organizers, and venues. Instead of paper sign-up sheets and dry-erase boards, musicians can browse upcoming jam nights, claim a slot, and watch their queue position update in real time — all from the web or the iOS app. Organizers get a live queue dashboard to coordinate their house band and run smooth, well-paced events.

Musician FAQ

How do I create an account?
  1. Go to jamqpro.com (or open the iOS app) and tap Sign Up.
  2. Enter your email address and choose a password.
  3. Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link.
  4. Complete your profile:
    • Instruments — select everything you play (guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals, etc.)
    • Skill level — beginner, intermediate, or advanced
    • Genres — helps organizers and house bands know your style
    • Bio & social links — optional, but great for connecting with others

iOS users: Download JamQPro from the App Store and sign in with the same credentials. Your profile, queue history, and achievements sync automatically.

How do I sign up for a jam night?
  1. From the Jam Nights tab, browse upcoming events near you. Use the search radius slider (1–100 miles) to filter by distance.
  2. Tap an event to see the venue, date/time, format, house band lineup, and any event rules.
  3. Tap Sign Up and confirm your slot.
  4. Track your position live:
Waiting — you're in line On Deck — get ready, you're next Playing — it's your turn

Need to cancel? Tap Cancel My Slot on the event page. Cancelling early helps organizers keep the queue moving.

Tip: Enable push notifications so you get an alert when you move to On Deck.

Organizer FAQ

How do I create an event?

You'll need an approved Organizer account linked to a verified venue. Not verified yet? Email [email protected] to start that process.

  1. From your Organizer Dashboard, click Create Event (or Use Template for a recurring night).
  2. Fill in the event details — title, format, venue, date & time, and description.
  3. Configure queue rules:
Max Slots
Songs Per Set
Requeue Cooldown
Show Songs Publicly
Registration Window
House Band Config
Event Templates
Draft / Publish / Active
  1. Add your House Band — select members by instrument and mark which roles are open to sit-ins.
  2. Set status to Published so musicians can find and sign up.

Templates: Save your settings as a template for recurring jam nights. Next time, hit Use Template and only change the date.

How do I manage the queue during a live event?

Set your event to Active in the dashboard to unlock the Live Queue view.

Move to On Deck
Mark Playing
Mark Completed
Drag to Reorder
Cancel a Slot

Musicians watching on their phone or the iOS app see queue updates in real time — they'll get a push notification when they move to On Deck, so you don't need to announce every change from the stage.
